Welcome to the Master Concreters' Association of Queensland (MCAQ)

MCAQ was established in August 2006 to provide a 'Voice' for the many contractors working in the concreting industry in Queensland.  Although MCAQ was established to represent concrete contractors, we also represent suppliers, manufacturers and pumpers. Providing support to the general public is also paramount to the continued success of MCAQ.

MCAQ's prime role is to raise the overall standard of the concrete industry.  This is being achieved through the delivery of industry training, seminars, educational sessions, access to technical information and advisory support to members.  MCAQ also performs an advocacy role, engaging various organisations and Governments at the State and Federal level on issues that affect our members and our industry. 

We are closely aligned with other major industry associations both here and overseas including 'Platinum Sponsorship' from Cement, Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA), Associate Membership with New Zealand Master Concrete Placers Association (NZMCPA) and 'Professional Membership' with the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC). These alliances assist the MCAQ in offering our members better benefits and up to the minute industry information.

 

Plan Reading and Concreting Best Practice Course Delivered to Industry  

MCAQ delivers the 'Plan Reading and Concreting Best Practice' course.  This course is accredited training, designed specifically for concreters and is delivered by training professionals and members of the concreting industry.  Information on the courses can be found by clicking on the MCAQ Training link on the left of this page.  

 

MCAQ Excellence in Industry Awards 

The 2012 MCAQ Excellence in Industry Awards will be held on 2 June at Moda, Portside.  The evening brings together a wide range of representatives from the concreting industry to celebrate and acknowledge the high standards in concrete placing by our concrete contractor members.  Click on the Excellence in Industry Awards link on the left hand side of the page to view information on the 2012 awards.
